Two student leader groups from Presentation College Carlow, Meitheal leaders and Student Prefects, travelled to the Nano Nagle place in Cork City. The trip was a great experience to immerse the student leaders in the life and legacy of Nano Nagle, the founder of the Presentation Sisters. The trip allowed student leaders to explore the Ethos of the school and look more into the history that surrounded the story of Nano's vision which eventually led to the founding of the Presentation Order in Co. Carlow. 

The groups were given a guided tour of the grounds of Nano Nagle’s first established in the heart of Cork City. They received access to some of the most valuable archives of Nano Nagle’s personal possessions.

Congratulations to all who were recently interviewed for the leadership position of Meitheal Leader at Presentation College. The following have been selected for the Meitheal Team, which will look after our incoming First Years.: Milena Balcer, Gavin Bradley, Jade Ellis, Kelly Farrell, Isabelle Fortune, Megan Hosey, Ava Hutchinson, Clare Miller, Adam Shaw and Niamh Watchorn.

These are very strange times in which we find ourselves and many of the things that we thought were certainties are no longer so. Students in our school and across the country are significantly feeling those losses at this time - graduations, end-of-year celebrations and even our Leaving Certificate examinations have been postponed or cancelled.
