What is bullying behaviour?

Bullying is a targeted behaviour, online or offline that causes harm.

The harm caused can be physical, social and/or emotional in nature.

Bullying behaviour is repeated over time and involves a balance of power in relationships between two people or groups of people in society.

What is OIDE?

The choice of an Irish word for the name of this support service represents the fundamental significance of the Irish language for our students and schools in our education system. Oide is an Irish word meaning 'teacher' much like the Irish word 'múinteoir', but with a much older provenance.
