Well done to those who participated in South Leinster Schools Track and field relay events on day one of the competition in St. Laurence O'Toole Athletic Club. A special thank you to all the Fifth Years, who put themselves forward for interview to become one of our ten Meitheal Leaders for the incoming First Years. The standard was very high and the following students were successful in being selected for the Meitheal Team 2025/2026.
Sophie Connolly, Tommy Cooney, Keeva Delaney, Meabh Donnelly, Millie Gordan, James Kehoe, Jack McNamara., Anna Mulhall Tcheuffa, Jack O'Brien and Evelyn Wigley.
These students will undergo a residential training during the summer holidays to develop their leadership skills to assist with the induction of the incoming First Years 2025-2026.

Well done to our First Year hurlers who won all three group games in the Carlow County First Year Hurling Blitz. The lads defeated Carlow CBS, Tyndall College and Tullow C.S. before losing the semi-final to Knockbeg by one point after extra-time.

Huge Congratulations to our students who were the first participants of a new initiative as part of the Shona Project called the Shona Project Mentorship Programme. The girls have been very fortunate to avail of this amazing leadership opportunity which has seen them grow and flourish. It has helped them develop in fantastic ways that will positively shape their future. The girls truly embraced the belief that they can achieve anything by staying positive and are more confident to tackle challenges ahead and have a clearer vision of their goals. Well done to our First / Second Year Camogie Team who played their last match this season against Portlaoise Críost Rí. The girls faced tough opposition but displayed some excellent skills and determination. Great to see new players starting camogie.
