Well done to those who participated in South Leinster Schools Track and field relay events on day one of the competition in St. Laurence O'Toole Athletic Club. There were four teams representing Presentation College at various levels and all teams achieved podium positions. 

The Intermediate boys team of Daniel Byrne, Alex McGrath, Josh McGrath and Éanna Dunican came third in the 4X100 metre relay. 

The Senior Girls team of Chloe Ryan, Marie Cranny, Sofia Granjo and Sarah O'Shea came second in the 4X100 metre relay, the girls will now progress to Leinster.

Presentation College was represented by two teams in the Senior boys 4X400 metre relay. Jack Connolly, Lorcan O'Connor, Ewan Breen and John O'Neill came away with bronze medals. Dylan Mc Grath, Marc Mulhall, Dylan Byrne and Jack Keating came in a convincing first place setting a new South Leinster Schools record in the process and paving the way to the next stage of the competition at Leinster level.
