This week the cast for the school musical were given to the pupils participating in the show on Tuesday the 11th.
Some of the present 5th years and all the present 4th years received the junior certificate results on the Wednesday the 12th.

During this week the school held auditions for the school musical, which will take place in seven weeks’ time. We as transition year students, have started our Social Action Project and our mini companies!!

Friday 31/8/12
On Wednesday 29/8/12 forty eight students including me started Transition year . We got divided into two groups T.Y 1 and T.Y.2 each group got a list of subjects to do for half of the school year, then they swap subjects . This allows us to experience all of the subjects in the school before deciding what subjects we will pick for our leaving certification . We also talked about work experience, mini companys , some of the trips we will be going on like Carlingford and Glendalough etc. and the Gaisce and John Paul II awards we can participate in .

Mr. Murray and all the staff wish all Leaving Certificate students the best of luck tomorrow as they receive their Examination Results.

Well done to the athletes who competed in the Leinster Track and Field Events last Wednesday and Saturday. A total of three gold medals and three silver medals were won over the two days.
Gold Medalists:
- Danny Lawlor won gold in the Senior 800 metre
- Grace Lawlor won gold in both the Inter 100 metre and 200 metre

Presentation College had another excellent day at the National F1 in schools finals On Thursday 25th April.
The School retained its Title as Junior Champions, with Synergy Racing . Raptor Racing were awarded second place . The school also won Best Innovation and Best engineered car. The Highlight of the day was the Senior teams Second place.. and the opportunity to represent Ireland in the World Finals !!
Congratulations to all team members who continue to excel in this area.
