Congratulations to Fifth Year Damian Korus who came in the top forty in the Irish Mathematical Olympiad. This means that Damian has been invited for more intense training in preparation for the Irish Maths Olympiad on Saturday 09 May 2020. The best six pupils at the Irish Maths Olympiad will represent the country at the International Maths Olympiad which will take place in Russia in July 2020....

Congratulations to Doireann and Emer who both received an award for Academic Excellence from Department of Economics, Finance and Accountancy Department of Law and School of Business,  Maynooth University for their Junior Cycle Results in Business Studies....

Lucy Gibson, from Presentation College, Carlow recently travelled as one of a team of eight from Ireland, to the 13^th WKC World Karate Champions in Belgrade, Serbia. The team consisted of four from Askea Karate Club, two from Carlow Karate Club and two from Northern Ireland. Lucy competed in four different events....and won Gold with the UKC team which consisted of the girls from Northern Ireland and Lucy. They are now the current World Champions.

The annual Entrance Scholarship Ceremony recognised the academic achievements of almost fifty First Year students in their Leaving Certificate exams,. Oliwier is a former student of Presentation College, Carlow and is currently studying Pharmaceutical & Biological Chemistry at Maynooth University. We would like to congratulate Oliwier on this achievement and wish him the very best in his studies and future career.

Presentation College Carlow had nine students, three teams taking part in the 2019 ISTA Senior Science Quiz regional finals in Carlow IT during Science week on Thursday evening. There were twenty three teams involved from Carlow, Kilkenny, Kildare and Laois. The winning team on the night was from Presentation College Carlow and the students are delighted to be going to the National Finals in Trinity College College Dublin..

On Friday, 18th October a distinguished gathering from the world of academia converged on the Seven Oaks Hotel in Carlow for the thirteenth annual Presentation College Academic Awards ceremony. The Academic Awards, implemented by the Board of Management, are designed to recognise and reward academic achievement among the students in Presentation College and to publicly celebrate their success....

Congratulations to Emma  from First Year who was nominated Carlow’s SHINE Hero. The competition which was organised by Beat and the Shona Foundation involved looking for inspirational girls from around the county. Emma has donated sixteen inches of her hair on TWO occasions to Rapunzel Foundation. This foundation specialises in making wigs for girls who have lost their hair due to illness....
