Remote Teaching And Learning

Teaching and Learning at Presentation College, Carlow is underpinned by our Mission Statement: “Prepare all of our pupils, girls and boys alike for the challenges, responsibilities and experiences of adult life”.

Due to the current pandemic we are all currently involved in 'Remote Teaching and Learning'. This is being done mainly through SchoolWise and Teams. Students have been assisted with devices and advice where requested to enable them to participate fully in remote learning. Please contact Ms Lowry - ICT Co-Ordinator if you need any further assistance.

iPads

Presentation College students have the choice to use mobile technology in the classroom in line with the schools Acceptable Use Policy. Schools bags are lighter and the use of educational apps greatly enriches the teaching and learning environment.

SchoolWise

All teachers and students have access to SchoolWise, a virtual learning environment to collaborate and communicate with students. This digital platform allows teachers to post materials, resources, notes, homework and educational links that students can access at all times. This valuable tool enhances the teaching and learning experience for both student and teacher.
