Transition Year students were visited by Anna Keegan from Trócaire this week. She informed students of the work Trócaire engages in to help communities ...Students also received their certificates and badges for all their work over the Easter period.

The Aloysius Foundation is a group of Transition Year students that represent St. Vincent De Paul in our school. We chose the name ‘Aloysius Foundation’ because St. Aloysius is the patron saint of young people.....Report written by: Abbie Nolan, Niamh Nolan and Caoimhe Connolly.

Students from Presentation College recently attended the regional Aloysius Foundation YSVP conference in the WIT Arena. They made a presentation and showcased the work they had done during the year. Katie Williams and the rest of the Presentation College SVP committee performed the song “Rise Up.”

Over the past week or so, students from Presentation College have been seen running for fun. Pictured are some of our TY year group who participated in a ‘5km Fun Run’ on Friday 29 April in wonderful weather conditions. There were some excellent athletic results too.

Rory McCann came to visit our Transition Year students during March and April. Rory’s club, 10^th Planet, is a Jujitsu club based in Carlow Sports and Social Club on College Street. All students had a great time and left with valuable new skills.
