Thanks to all at CP Adventure. Our Transitions Years had a wonderful time and while there were many restrictions and precautions due to the current situation all enjoyed the day out. In fact due to the number of students in Transition Year, we had to divide them into two groups and go on two separate days. Three bus loads of students and lots of fun and new friendships made. Our First Years enjoyed a brilliant day out in Leisure Max organised by our superb Meitheal Team. The students enjoyed bowling, laser tag, absailing and climbing. They took part in sumo wrestling, goggle soccer, zorbing, pool and basketball shooting. A fantastic day was had by all. Huge thanks to our Meitheal Leaders who put in a big effort in planning and organising the day from booking the venue to organising the buses. Lots of fun had by everyone.

On the 9th January one hundred and forty Second Year students boarded three buses to go to the BT Young Scientist exhibition in the RDS, Dublin. We had a great opportunity to look at the many range of projects on display and this will help us with ideas for our CBA's which are coming up soon....

On Monday the Sixth Year Geography students travelled to Kippure, Co. Wicklow to carry out experiments in the river Liffey for their Leaving Certificate Geography Project. Despite some showers in the morning the weather held out for the rest of the day. Some of the experiments carried out were: 'Calculating the Velocity of the river', 'Calculating the Slope of the River' and 'Analysing the Bedload'. The project will be worth points for their final Leaving Certificate Geography exam.
