The final of the school indoor soccer tournament takes place today in the Sports Hall between Young Boys and JV X Nicky 4K, with kick-off at 1:20pm. The semi-finals were hard-fought, intense games and the final looks set to be the same! Update: The five-a-side indoor soccer tournament drew to a close, with the final contested between Young Boys and JV X Nicky4K. A large crowd of supporters present in the Sports Hall for this event witnessed determination and serious soccer skills from the players on both teams. After a hotly-contested game, Young Boys emerged victorious on a score line of 5 - 0. Congratulations to both teams on reaching the final. Young Boys: Marc Mulhall (Capt.), Ewan Breen, Lorcan Dempsey, Seán Murphy, Axel O'Rock.

Presentation College/Gaelcoláiste Carlow: 2.6 Scoil Aireagail: 4.10 Pres had plenty of heroes on the day with Callum Nolan Swayne and the McGrath twins, Josh and Alex, playing a leading role alongside team Captain Jack McDonald, while First Year student Danny McMahon had an excellent game, finishing with 1.5 to his name. Presentation College sent an excellent group of students to the Chess Tournament in Knockbeg yesterday. We competed against FCJ Bunclody, Tullow Community School and Gaelcholáiste Cheatharlach and St. MAry's Knockbeg College. Team Awards: First Place: Leo Bramrock, Owen Zhou, Dibsan Rijal, Séan Bradley and Albert Nawrocki. Second Place: Keelan Reynolds, Dylan Byrne, Marc Mulhall, Eoghan Brennan and Masrafi Islam. We are facilitating " Don't Be Mean Behind The Screen" workshops for First Year students on Tuesday, May 7. These workshops specifically address the Issue of Internet Safety and Cyberbullying among young people.
