Students and teachers depart today for Nancy, France representing Ireland in this exciting European Project. The students will meet with students from 16 European Countries over 6 days and discuss culture, heritage, geography and politics among other European issues. Accompanied by Principal Mr. Ray Murray this is a very exciting opportunity for the students, who will also attend functions in Strasbourg during the week. As the only school chosen for this project from Ireland we wish them the best of Luck.

Presentation College students are currently enjoying the slopes in Montecampione , Italy !
Already on the red slopes the students are having a fantastic time , spending over 6 hours skiing per day followed by evenings in the hotel leisure centre . The students are participating fully in Aprés-ski activities and enjoying the fine array of Italian foods.

Our First Year Business classes visited the Chocolate Warehouse in Dubin today where they saw this exciting business in action and even got to make their own treats!! Accompanied by their teachers Ms . Keating, Ms . Gibbons and Mr. Mc Dermottt the visit was enjoyed by all.

In Jan. and Feb. 2011 transition year students in Presentation College had three dance workshops with Robert Connor,artistic director of Dance Theatre of Ireland.The workshops provided an exhilarating and creative experience in dance and were accompanied by world and popular music.During the final session on Monday Feb. 7th all transition year students gave a thrilling performance to the "Beat it" song by Michael Jackson in front of an audience.This proved to be a most enjoyable and worthwhile experience for all.

A three goal blitz by St Kevins, Dunlavin in the opening minutes of this South Leinster Juvenile Football semi final played in Dunlavin proved to be the decisive event in this free flowing, fast moving game. Despite gaining the upper hand in the second half the Presentation College side were unable to overcome the damage done to their chances of reaching the South Leinster final by the early goal blitz.

Congratulations to everyone involved in the wonderful celebration on Saturday 29th January. A special well done to the staff, students and friends of Presentation College who created a wonderful tapestry depicting the life of Nano Nagle . Under the guidance of Catherine Kavanagh this piece is a wonderful creation, which will be treasured for many years to come.
