Congratulations to Grace Byrne (Sixth Year) who recently won the Lions Club Young Ambassador of the Year Award. Grace won the award based on her school and community involvement and volunteer work. She has been involved in the Meitheal, Prefect and Zambia programmes in school while finding time to involve herself in parish work in Killeshin and Graiguecullen, Carlow Youth Services Summer Camp and Dance Republic. Grace won a €500 bursary award for which she nominated Graiguecullen Community Project and she now advances to the regional interviews scheduled for the Seven Oaks Hotel in December.
