The Second Year basketball boys team won their regional final in Portlaoise Tuesday 4th March. They played against Mountmellick CS in a nail biting final. This Thursday, March 6th, is World Book Day! To celebrate, we’re encouraging all First Year students to dress up as their favourite book or comic character—and we’d love for staff to join in the fun too.
To keep things simple and creative, we’re asking both students and staff to use what they already have at home or get crafty and make their own costumes.
On behalf of the First Year English department, we’d really appreciate your support and hope to see many of you taking part.
