On the 20/3/23 the Art Department brought a group of Fifth Years to The Van Gogh Immersive Art Exhibition in Artane, Dublin. The exhibition blends art and technology, bringing the most iconic works of Van Gogh’s to life. On the day the students enjoyed a combination of visuals, light and sound in an innovative new way to experience art. It gave students the opportunity to be able to step into famous paintings like Starry Night and Sunflowers and view them in a new exciting way. On Monday March 6th a group of Transition Year girls took part in a local inter-school fun cycling and running event at 11.30am at SLOT. The emphasis was on participation and keeping girls active. It was a great event. Thanks to Ms. Kavanagh and Mr. Bailey for organising.
