Congratulations to the winners of our Student Council WIMS 2026. Once again this year we had a very successful day where our Student Council hosted a great event. Winner of our "Funky Shoes" competition was Jessica who won a trophy and a €25 voucher for our school canteen. Our two hamper winners were Ms Bradley and Dylan whose names were pulled out of the drum on the day by Mr Murray.......A big thank you to students and staff in our school and local community who helped make our WIMS day such a success this year.

As part of Active Schools Week, students and teachers lined out for a very competitive game of rounders. A close game, that saw the teachers triumph!

Student Council will hold a bake sale on Friday 17th April in preparation for our Walk In My Shoes day which will take place on Friday 24th April. Both card and cash payments accepted. Students and teachers can bring cakes to Room 30 on Friday morning. Thanks to everyone for donating cakes etc, you will each receive a free raffle ticket for our big raffle at our WIMS day.

Our First Years enjoyed a day in Leisuremax in Wexford on Thursday. The trip was organised by their Meitheal Leaders and Ms Bradley. A great day was had by all. Check our social media for photos.

First and Second Year girls took part in the Lidl #SeriousSupport programme with Anne Marie Doran yesterday. This initiative aims to reduce drop off rate in sport participation in young girls while promoting support for those who are still involved. Thank you to Ms Fogarty who organised this workshop and we look forward to welcoming Anne Marie back for the practical workshop in a few weeks time.
