A fantastic evening of Networking and Appreciation for all involved in the APA Charity was held on the 14th December ’22, in the Camden Court Hotel Dublin.
Presentation College Carlow students, Cathal Moriarty, Ethan Windsor, Jaml Osho, Charlie McNamara and Charlie Feeney, along with their teacher Mrs. Kelly were delighted to be invited to this inspiring event and meet the guest of honour and Oscar Nominee, Ruth Negga.
It was a privilege to hear from the various speakers on the amazing work the Charity does for Domestic Workers and to have a Zoom call with former domestic worker Debora Mwageni from Tanzania.
Presentation students have been working in the APA shop, A Partnership with Africa, since September as part of their Transition Year work experience Programme in conjunction with their Global Citizenship Education/Religion class and are thoroughly enjoying the experience.

Today is Presentation Day. We think of the family of Presentation Sisters and schools. We remember the inspiring story of our foundress Nano Nagle. We prepare to celebrate with a mass tomorrow.

Our Annual Awards Prize-Giving Ceremony took place recently to recognise all the achievements by our students both academically and through extra-curricular activities throughout the year.
The awards ranged from Sporting Achievements, Musician of the Year, Student of the Year, AILO/AIPO, Student Council, CEIST, Bridin Quinn, Amanda O'Mahony Memorial German Award.
It was very uplifting to recognise the continuous hard work being done by all our staff and students both inside and outside of the classroom, particularly during a most difficult year.
We congratulate all our worthy award winner recipients and thank them for always representing themselves and our school with such pride and honour. We wish them all the very best in their future endeavours. Click HERE for information on the awards and photos.
