Congratulations to Emma  from First Year who was nominated Carlow’s SHINE Hero. The competition which was organised by Beat and the Shona Foundation involved looking for inspirational girls from around the county. During Lent this year, students and staff raised €358.50 for Trócaire. Trócaire is an organisation that provide invaluable services to developing countries. Students took part in sponsorships and raffles among other activities.

Congratulations to everyone involved in the wonderful celebration on Saturday 29th January. A special well done to the staff, students and friends of Presentation College who created a wonderful tapestry depicting the life of Nano Nagle . Under the guidance of Catherine Kavanagh this piece is a wonderful creation, which will be treasured for many years to come.
