Forty-one Second and Third Year students from Presentation College began December with a four day activity packed trip to the Rhine region of Germany They visited the Christmas markets in .Düsseldorf, Koblenz and Cologne, went ice-skating in the theme park Phantasialand and Cologne, visited Marksburg Castle, visited a school, met their pen pals and much much more. Lucy Gibson, from Presentation College, Carlow recently travelled as one of a team of eight from Ireland, to the 13th WKC World Karate Champions in Belgrade, Serbia. The team consisted of four from Askea Karate Club, two from Carlow Karate Club and two from Northern Ireland. Lucy competed in four different events....and won Gold with the UKC team which consisted of the girls from Northern Ireland and Lucy. They are now the current World Champions.

Presentation Sisters and friends of Nano Nagle, all over the world, celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of Mary in the Temple on the 21st November each year...On Presentation Day students and staff participated in a wonderful mass organised by the Religion and Music departments. Students were involved in all aspects of the mass. Head Girl - Meadhbh Broderick and Head Boy - Charlie O’Meara welcomed everyone to Askea Church.
