This Tuesday, four Student Council Representatives Rose, Belle, Abjan and Joy attended the Carlow Regional Council in Carlow College. They participated in various workshops and discussions on regional and national education issues. They also elected the Regional Officers.

Regional Council report 

On the 14th of October, we attended the ISSU Regional Council in Carlow College. We learned all about the ISSU and what they do for students with engaging workshops and informative discussions. We learned about different campaigns supported by the ISSU. A speaker from Unite the Unions gave us a presentation about work unions and our rights as workers. After a nice lunch, we voted to elect our new 2026 regional officers for Carlow-Kilkenny. Overall, the Regional Council was a great opportunity and an informative experience for us all!
