The Junior hurling team are through to the South Leinster semi-final after an entertaining three-point victory over St Kevin’s Community College. Played in perfect conditions at the Presentation grounds on Tuesday morning, the home team took a six-point lead into break as goals from Peter Lynch and Brian Lou left the half-time score 2.8 to 1.5.

St Kevin’s battled well in the second half and proved adept at netting goals at crucial periods of the game as the Carlow outfit couldn’t shake their sticky Wicklow opponents. However, Peter Lynch’s ability to score from range and a well-taken Danny McMahon goal secured the win and a place in the championship semi-finals.
