School Awards 2023

Congratulations to all students on completing the school year 2022 -2023. At our Awards Ceremonies on Thursday and Friday many students were recognised for both accademic abd extra curricular achievements. Éist presented with cheque from the 'Tractor Run'

Presentation College Tractor Run took place on the 12th of March this year in aid of Éist Cancer Support Centre. Students who organized the event managed to raise an amazing 5,702.75 for the charity. Glen Burke (Sixth Year) presents the cheque to Éist Service Manager Lorna McGrath last Thursday, also pictured are Fifth and Sixth Year students from the organizing committee.

Ireland celebrates 50 years as a member of the European Union this year. This Tuesday our Junior EU Ambassadors from 2AT planned and organised an awareness raising day. Students made quizzes, designed posters, conducted surveys, decorated the school entrance and a team did face painting during break time on the 28th March... Tractor Run 12th March

Presentation College, Carlow will host our second  'Tractor Run' on Sunday, 12th March 2023. The proceeds will be in aid of Éist Cancer Support Centre Carlow. Registration will be from 11am at Presentation College and the 'Tractor Run' will be leaving at 1pm sharp. The event last year was very enjoyable and successful. All drivers must have a valid licence and insurance to take part. Spectators welcome. 

Think Languages

Today Transition Years took part in the National #ThinkLanguages Event for the first time in Presentation College. Special thanks to our team of Language Champions Ben, Cathal,  Lexie, Lucy and Mia who planned and ran the morning. Click on the heading for more information and photos. 



Mr. O'Neill Retires after 39 Years of Service and Dedication to Presentation College.

Students and staff gathered  in the Sports Hall today to wish Mr. O'Neill all the very best in his retirement. Principal - Mr. Murray,  Head Boy - Gavin Bradley and Head Girl - Clare Miller paid tribute to Mr. O'Neill on behalf of the students of Presentation College. More information and photos to follow.
