Presentation College are delighted to have been chosen nationally as one of the twenty-five schools to be involved in the Neat Streets Programme for 2017/2018. 

Neat Streets is an anti-litter and waste programme run in secondary schools across the Republic of Ireland. The programme is designed to develop leadership, project management, citizenship and communication skills among students, through the creation and implementation of an anti-litter and waste campaign.

It involves establishing a ‘Green Schools Committee’, collecting baseline data and implementing an action plan to combat litter and waste in the school building, school grounds and the wider community. 

An Taisce currently runs the programme and supports participating schools through the website, school visits, meetings with students, workshops and seminars.

It is our hope that upon completion of the programme by the end of the academic year 2017/2018 we will be presented with a Neat Streets Award for our hard work and dedication to this project.
