Congratulations to all those who competed in the recent South Leinster Track and Field Championships over two days. Special mention must go to the Minor Girls Relay Team (Zoe Garrigan, Katie Ingram, Lyndsey Ward, Aoife Ryan), Zoe Garrigan – High Jump, 75m Hurdles, Shane Gordon – Long Jump, Eva Kavanagh – Discus, Dean Holmes – 2km Steeplechase and Jack Mitchell – 400m Hurdles, who all qualified to the Leinster Championships. Well done! 
Other standout performances on the day came from Aoife Ryan – 3rd, 100m Final, Lyndsey Ward – 4th, 1100m and Aibhe Kiernan – 5th, 500m after running a superb race.
Also qualifying for the Leinster Championships were the U-16 Boys Relay Team (Ryan Kelly, Jakub Brzezinski, Darragh O’Donoghue, Jamie Cooper), Rhian Kidd – Long Jump, Shot Putt, Ayomide Oke – 110m Hurdles, Laura Ward – 1500m, Senior Boys Relay Team (Niall Harvey, Dean Holmes, Tom Pollard, Jack Mitchell), Dean Holmes – 1500m, Leah Hutton – Javelin, Emilia Karawajczyk – Pole Vault and Anna Schmidbauer – Pole Vault.
