The South Leinster Cross Country was held in Heywood College on Wednesday, 27th January. Twenty-six students in total represented our school at this event and the course was definitely a challenge to all involved. With equal parts muck, water and hills to contend with, all our participants pushed themselves hard around the course. However the high standard on the day meant that many were unlucky not to qualify through to Leinster. We did though have success in some of the boys races with Ryan Kelly (Junior Boys) David Ward, Niall Harvey (Inter. Boys) and David Lalor (Senior Boys) finishing within the top fifteen and so securing their places in their respective Leinster races. Well done to all!
