Shortly after break-time on Friday, all students and staff gathered in the School Hall for the annual Carol Service. A number of readings and prayers were read by students, under the direction of Ms. Siobhan Doorley on behalf of the RE Department, and these were accompanied by some fabulous singing of carols by the school choir under the direction of Ms. Maeve Lyons, Music Department.
The school chaplain, Fr Liam Morgan also  participated and he addressed those present on the significance of the birth of the baby Jesus and also lit the Advent Wreath.
School Principal, Mr Ray Murray gave the final address, thanking everybody for all of their hard work during the first term, those involved in the preparation of the Carol Service and wished all the school community a very Happy, Holy and Peaceful Christmas.
A really celebratory and festive atmosphere was enjoyed by all.
