The Boys Senior Football team advanced to the next round of the South Leinster Championship following what was in the end a narrow victory over Gaelcholaiste. This was a very competitive game with both sets of players working hard to come out on top. Gaelcholaiste had the best of the early exchanges but by half time our team had moved into a 4-5 to 1-6 lead.  Both teams swapped scores during the second half until a last minute penalty for Gaelcholaiste narrowed the gap to one point. A tense minute followed before the final whistle and achievement of a well merited victory.
