These are very strange times in which we find ourselves and many of the things that we thought were certainties are no longer so. Our First Years enjoyed a brilliant day out in Leisure Max organised by our superb Meitheal Team. The students enjoyed bowling, laser tag, absailing and climbing. They took part in sumo wrestling, goggle soccer, zorbing, pool and basketball shooting. A fantastic day was had by all. Huge thanks to our Meitheal Leaders who put in a big effort in planning and organising the day from booking the venue to organising the buses. Lots of fun had by everyone.

Well done to our fantastic Meitheal Team who organised some fun activities on Friday for our First Years. They finished off the day with some impressive moves during Wii Dance!! They have been working really hard, ensuring all our First Year students are settling into Secondary School life that little bit easier and supporting them all the way.

Our incoming First Years were welcomed to the school last Friday afternoon for their Entrance Assessment.  As well as meeting Mr. Murray the pupils met a fantastic group of students with whom they will become very familiar – the new Meitheal Team for 2019 – 2020 (see photograph). Our outgoing Team of Meitheal Leaders had their Awards Night and Graduation Ceremony on Friday evening in a packed Askea Church. Thanks to Ms. Doorley and Ms. Maher for mentoring, supporting and guiding the students throughout the year.
