Huge Congratulations to Michael Duke, who represented Ireland with the junior national rowing squad in Strathclyde Park Scotland at the Home International Regatta on the 27th July. Michael and his Neptune club mate and pair partner Tommy were selected for the Irish Junior men’s (Under 19) team and competed against crews representing England, Scotland and Wales. Michael raced alongside his teammates in the 8 finishing 2nd and in the 4 finishing 3rd. It was a great experience for Michael and an honour to represent Ireland. The final of the school indoor soccer tournament takes place today in the Sports Hall between Young Boys and JV X Nicky 4K, with kick-off at 1:20pm. The semi-finals were hard-fought, intense games and the final looks set to be the same! Update: The five-a-side indoor soccer tournament drew to a close, with the final contested between Young Boys and JV X Nicky4K. A large crowd of supporters present in the Sports Hall for this event witnessed determination and serious soccer skills from the players on both teams. After a hotly-contested game, Young Boys emerged victorious on a score line of 5 - 0. Congratulations to both teams on reaching the final. Young Boys: Marc Mulhall (Capt.), Ewan Breen, Lorcan Dempsey, Seán Murphy, Axel O'Rock.
