GMW is an annual global awareness-raising campaign to ensure that young people are financially aware and are able to achieve financial well-being and financial resilience. The #GMW2025 theme this year is "Think before you follow, wise money tomorrow" Pictured are First Year Business Studies Students setting up a stand creating awareness of both the theme and school-wide quizzes on Financial Literacy and Global currencies.

World Book Day

This Thursday, March 6th, is World Book Day! To celebrate, we’re encouraging all First Year students to dress up as their favourite book or comic character—and we’d love for staff to join in the fun too.
To keep things simple and creative, we’re asking both students and staff to use what they already have at home or get crafty and make their own costumes.
On behalf of the First Year English department, we’d really appreciate your support and hope to see many of you taking part.

"Semaine Française"

Our annual "Semaine Française" is underway.  We hope everyone will enjoy the week and participate in the various activities organised by your French teachers Ms. Bowden and Ms. Jully.
Many thanks to Kornelia, Patricia, Caoimhe and Emmylou for greeting students en français yesterday and doing some lovely face painting also! Click on heading for more!

Spider-Man

Ms. Kirwan's First Year English class has taken creativity to the next level with their Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse projects! 🕷️🕸️ These students are showing off talents beyond the typical English classroom. From designing and 3D printing web-slingers to handcrafting new Spider-People and comic strips, their ingenuity knows no bounds! They even used Scratch to animate their own Spidey creations, showcasing impressive digital skills. Keep up the amazing work, class — your creativity and hard work are truly inspiring! ✨ #CreativeClassroom #SpideySkills #InnovationInAction"
