A huge well done to our Senior Camogie Team who had a tough fought battle against Scoil Dara Kilcock in today's Leinster Semi-Final. The girls displayed some excellent skills and team work and came out strong winners on a score line of 6-8 to 3-4. Click on the heading for more!

German Press Conference

Congratulations to our German students who mentored by Ms Byrne represented themselves, Presentation College and Ireland in an International German / Sustainability competition - Ökoscoop organised by the Goethe Institut in London. The team was lead by Páidí and the team members were Zahin, Rose, Martin and Abyan. The final stage of the competition was an online Zoom Press Conference on Friday. Presentation College spoke about our school Re-Turn system - see: Die Grünen Flaschen.pdf and answered questions in German from the other schools in our group. We had excellent feedback and are now awaiting the results following all of the other Press Conferences. Click on the heeading for more photos!

Past student, Jia Hao Xhou, recipient of the Trinity College Entrance Scholarship Award at the awards ceremony in Trinity College Dublin on Thursday with Deputy Principal, Sinéad McCarthy. Congratulations to Jia and wishing him well with his Computer Science and Business studies in TCD.

Global Citizenship Green School Winner

Our school is currently working on the Green Schools Global Citizenship - Litter and Waste Theme. Some of our Green School members got involved with the fifth edition of Green-Schools TLDR: Global Goals Through Art engagement. We are delighted to that one of our student''s entry was voted as a winner in the following category: Evelina - Best Message (Junior Category). Evelina has been presented with her prize - a One4All voucher to the value of €125. Congratulations and well done to the members for their contribution to Green-Schools Global Goals Bookless Club Engagement. 

Nationalist Sports Star Nominee - Michael Duke

Sixth Year student Michael Duke has been nominated for the annual Carlow Sports Star awards. The ceremony will be held this Friday evening at the Woodford Dolmen Hotel  He is receiving the rowing award for his achievements on the water with the national team during the summer. There is an online vote for the overall sports winner. If anyone wants to give him a vote they can do it online. There is no fee attached to the vote.Here is the link: Voting Link
