We are very happy to have bikes for students to use during school in PE class and for special programmes - for example a programme being run for Transition Year students at Presentation College since 2020 in incorporating skills needed for a 'Duathlon' - cycling and running. These pictures are from the Third National Championship for Kyujutsu in Germany. Many countries participated, mainly Germany, Ireland and England. Two Irish dojo’s attended. Ireland brought back many rewards from the tournament. Our dojo also won the second best Clan award. We did three different types of shooting. Speed shooting, precision shooting and tower shooting. Cody (Fifth Year) is currently in 2nd place in the Irish National Downhill Mountainbike Series (IDMS). He is competing this weekend in the final round of the IDMS at Glencullen Adventure Park. This year he competed in races across the country from Rostrevor, Co. Down to Shronaboy Farm, Killlarney. Cody is a member of Bree Racing MTB Club. He races Enduro and Downhill. Downhill is definitely his favourite. Wishing Cody the best of luck this weekend.
