Our Transition Year St. Vincent de Paul group officially launched their Christmas Campaign in the school yesterday. They are running three events over the next few weeks.

      Food Appeal:

1. Any non-perishable food items that you wish to donate can be dropped into the decorated shopping trolley in the front hall. SVP Carlow are collaborating with St. Clare's Hospitality in Graiguecullen this year. All food items collected will be donated to St. Clare's Hospitality and used for local families over the festive period. The last day for donations is December 10th.
2. Soft Toy Appeal:
   Soft toys/teddies etc. that are clean and in excellent condition are being collected and given to SVP Carlow, who will distribute them to local children this Christmas. Donations can be dropped into the assigned box in the front hall. The last day for donations is December 10th.

4. Christmas Jumper Day:
   Every year Presentation College participates in the annual National SVP Christmas Jumper Day initiative. Students and staff are asked to wear a festive jumper and to donate €2 on the door. This year it will take place on Friday, December 19th. Money raised will be used by our TY students to buy vouchers for teenagers in their community. SVP Carlow will then distribute the vouchers in the lead up to Christmas.
