Éanna, who is just in Third Year
participated in the National Senior Indoor Championships last weekend in the NIA Abbotstown. He was one of the youngest athletes to compete. He ran in the same heat as Israel Olantunde, the National Champion and Irish record holder. Éanna ran a PB of 7.37 seconds in the 60m sprint and will now go on to participate in the Leinster Indoor Championships in Athlone at U17 level. Pictured with Israel, who kindly gave his time to speak with Éanna before he competed in the final and won the gold medal again for the second consecutive year.
