On Tuesday morning eighty-one Transition Year students along with eight enthusiastic teachers embarked on a busy and exciting three-day trip to visit three different countries. Meeting at Askea Church the group travelled by coach to Dublin Airport. The flight to Brussels was enjoyable, with wonderful views of Belgium. The group then travelled by coach to the Theme Park in EFTELING. Click on the link for more information! That night following an evening meal, the tired, but happy group checked into the hotel. The following morning - Wednesday, the group headed to Germany. Here they visited the Cathedral in Cologne (Köln), the Lindt Chocolate Museum and enjoyed a cruise on the Rhine. After that, there was free time to enjoy the Christmas Markets and the ambience of the city. Thursday morning the group left the hotel and travelled to Brugge in Belgium. Here they explored the lovely city and enjoyed a canal cruise, learning all about the history of the city from the tour guide. That afternoon the group returned to Brussels Airport and flew home.
