Well done to Transition Year students Lee Campbell, John Harding, Pauric Dempsey and Steven Grant who came second in ‘The Only Way Is Up’ competition run by IComp and University of Limerick in association with NanoRacks. Their project, “ An Investigation of Intelligent Mould Growth in Microgravity ”, aimed to examine how the microgravity environment affected the subject of their experiment - the intelligent slime mould, physarum polycephalum. The boys travelled to Limerick on Tuesday, 4^th February to collect their award.
