First Years were excavating cookies in Ms Kirwan's History class on Friday, putting the practical element of archaeology into practice. They mapped out their cookies first and then carefully excavated as many chocolate chips as they could find (using toothpicks!!) and then recorded their finds in their log books. The Second Year Parent Teacher meeting takes place on Tuesday after school. Classes finish at 15:45 and there will be no badminton training after school.

Congratulations to Leo Bramrock, Dylan Byrne, Keelan Reynolds and Owen Zheu who came Third overall in the South-Eastern leg of the All-Ireland Checkmate competition last Friday. Hard luck to our @Pres_Carlow Senior ladies football team who were narrowly defeated by Coláiste Lorcain by two points. It was a great sporting game with our neighbours. Final score 4-15 - 6-7.
