Ireland celebrates 50 years as a member of the European Union this year. This Tuesday our Junior EU Ambassadors from 2AT planned and organised an awareness raising day. Students made quizzes, designed posters, conducted surveys, decorated the school entrance and a team did face painting during break time on the 28th March... Well done to the Under 14 Girls Gaelic team who participated in the Under 14 Blitz in Fenagh GAA Grounds. Thanks to Leinster LGFA for organising a great day. 



Unconsious Bias

Fifth and Sixth Year Politics and Society students with teachers Ms. O’ Doherty and Mr. Carley participated last week in a very interactive conversation around Unconscious Bias, titled “Together Against Racism: Exploring Unconscious Bias” with a key address by Emer O’Neill. On the 20/3/23 the Art Department brought a group of Fifth Years to The Van Gogh Immersive Art Exhibition in Artane, Dublin. The exhibition blends art and technology, bringing the most iconic works of Van Gogh’s to life. On the day the students enjoyed a combination of visuals, light and sound in an innovative new way to experience art. It gave students the opportunity to be able to step into famous paintings like Starry Night and Sunflowers and view them in a new exciting way.
