We are delighted to say that in our first competitive tournament we placed first. With 91 players competing in the tournament (thirteen of whom were Presentation College students) we had six players in the top ten and nine players in the top twenty. There are areas we need to work on as we qualify to play in a higher ranked tournament but the mentors were delighted with our team's performance. Thanks also to all the staff who are supporting Chess Club and we are delighted to continue to see new students and staff members joining. Chess Club runs on Thursdays at 1.20pm in G2.
