This Christmas we could not sing together and make music together like we look forward to and enjoy so much every year in Presentation College, Carlow.
We felt we could not let the year that was 2020 close without performing a firm favourite of ours from all the Christmas carols, ‘O Holy Night’. For the last ten years the annual carol service in Presentation College has finished with ‘O Holy Night’ and we really wanted to create something special that could be shared with the whole school community as 2020 draws to a close.
We are fortunate to have many very talented musicians in Presentation College and this video showcases just a few of them. Fifth Year student, Aaron Smith took charge of the project and recorded the vocal and instrumental parts separately, and edited these together to create this beautiful video of ‘O Holy Night’.
