The girls have been working very hard over the last few weeks under the guidance of Ms Kirwan. We wish them all the very best!

The Leinster Indoors took place at the weekend in TUS Athlone. Several athletes from Presentation College took part and medalled. Congratulations to: Fifth Years - Éanna Dunican and Sofia Granjo and Transition Years - Martin Nolan-Hosey and Jack Wickham. All four athletes represented St Laurence O'Toole's AC. Éanna Dunican won silver in the Leinster U20 60m; Sofia Granjo won gold in the Leinster U20 400m; Sofia and Éanna won gold on the SLOT 4x200m U19 mixed relay team; Sofia won silver as part of the SLOT 4x200m U19 girls team; Martin Nolan-Hosey won gold in both the U18 and U20 Pole Vault; and Jack Wickham won gold in the U17 Pole Vault .

German Students Represent Ireland in an International Sustainabllity Competition

Huge congratulations to Abyan, Páidí, Rose and Zahin, who are representing Ireland in a German Sustainability competition organised by the Goethe-Institut, London. This photo was from the Zoom meeting in November at the start of the project. They will be speaking (in German) about our Presentation College Re-Turn Initiative, answering questions from opposing teams and promoting our Re-Turn programme to the other schools in the competition on Friday 23rd January. We wish them and their German teacher Ms Byrne the very best of luck as they prepare for the online Press Conference.

Future Sparks Award

Well done to 5B LCVP Class who received an AIB Future Sparks 'Exemplary School Award' for their project "Re-turn for Extra Curricular". The group started the initiative in December raising funds to buy a set of Jerseys for Extra Curricular teams. To date they have raised €371.95.

Presentation College students and staff were delighted to accept the Exemplary School Award from AIB today as part of their Future Sparks Programme. Our students were recognised for their outstanding contribution towards raising over €17,000 for the Hope Foundation. Great results for SLOT and Presentation College at the South Leinsters today. Jack Mahon won silver in inter boys 300m no photo. Dylan Byrne won gold in senior boys 1500m no photo. Marc Mulhall won double gold in senior boys 100m and 200m. Éanna Dunican won gold in the inter boys 100m and equalled the championship record of 10.80. Sofia Granjo won silver in the inter girls 300m. Isabelle McCormack silver in the senior girls Javelin. Chloe Ryan won gold in the senior girls Shot Putt and in the senior girls discus and Jack Wickham won gold in the intermediate boys pole vault. Click on heading for more photos.
