Well done to our under 19 boys soccer team on their recent 2-2 draw against St. Kieran's College. They played out a hard-fought away match on Thursday in windy conditions. Gael O' Rock scored a great header to open the scoring that came from a dangerous corner kick whipped in by Timi Adeleye. The opposition hit back after an unlucky misplaced pass but Axel O' Rock restored the lead through a well-placed free kick that managed to evade everyone in the box - it seemed the defenders were too busy trying to mark John O' Neill who remained a threat in throughout the half. A late penalty to St. Kieran's tied up the match at 2-2 in what ended as a very competitive and entertaining fixture. Well done to all players involved.
