A group of four German students from Transition Year and Fifth Year have entered a new German speaking competition organised by the Goethe-Institut. The idea is to research a sustainability issue and to present this in an online forum answering questions from other teams and everything is through the medium of German. Ms Byrne will be leading the project and today we had our first Zoom meeting with the other participating schools. We are thinking of promotong our school Re-Turn initiative and will decide later on having done our research on the exact topic we will investigate. The project will have three phases and phase one is completing sustainability modules on the GIImagine App. The second phase will be working on a project. This phase runs until early January. The third phase is the preparation for a Press Conference and the Press COnference itsself. This will take place at the end of January, We look forward to finding out more in the future. Best of luck to Páidí, Zahin, Abyan and Rose.

"A few words of wisdom and inspiration from the Transition Year coaches helped the Second Year football team secure a convincing victory over Kilkenny CBS. It was an outstanding team performance, with our lads leading from start to finish. That’s two wins from two games — a fantastic achievement as this group advances to the next stage.
