Our TY Young St. Vincent de Paul (YSVP) group are launching their annual SVP Christmas Food Appeal this week.

The group would be so grateful for your support. Donations of non-perishable food items can be left in the decorated shopping trolley in the front hall. Donated food will be collected at the end of the month by our local branch of SVP and hampers will be distributed in early December. All hampers will go directly to local families in need this Christmas. Year on year the need for support rises in Carlow and indeed around the country, so all donations will be very much appreciated.

Thank you as always for your support and generosity.

Well done to the under 19 boys' soccer team who beat Borris College in difficult and foggy conditions. The Pres won 3-0 with two goals from Marc Mulhall and one from Emmanuel Adetoro. A special mention also for goalkeeper Ewan Breen who denied the opposition a lifeline back into the match by saving a rebounding shot from a penalty kick. Well done to all players involved 🏆 Click on the heading for all the photos!
