The very best of luck to the seven students and three teachers heading to India tomorrow. They will fly to Kolkata and spend a week helping the children in the slums of India and experiencing the culture. We look forward to their report and photos. 

Our Student Council made a presentation to the students travelling to Kolkata.  Our Student Council Equality Officer, Nothabo Siziba, delivered a heart-warming speech as she congratulated the students on being chosen to travel to Kolkata and on their excellent efforts in fundraising for this very worthy cause.  She mentioned the important role our students will play in representing our school as they will try to make a difference in the lives of children who are less fortunate than they are.  We wish the students and teachers travelling, best wishes in their mission to help to improve the lives of the people they meet in Kolkata and we look forward to hearing all about it upon their return.
