Transition Year students from Presentation College presented Ms Elma Walsh, mother of the late Donal Walsh, with a cheque for €1,020 on the occasion of her recent visit to the school. The students managed to run a very successful Teacher Car Wash, a Fifth Year Quiz and a First and Second Year Wii Dance and Indoor Soccer Blitz. All proceeds will go towards the Donal Walsh #livelife Foundation. Donal's mother, Elma, gave a very inspiring talk to students encouraging them to embrace, love and live life! 

Her son Donal passed away four years ago and his message during his illness was to remind people that despite obstacles which may occur, there's always a door open, a person to talk to and a reason to live.

The money raised will help the Donal Walsh #livelife Foundation to promote the assistance to teenagers in becoming aware of the help and the services that are available when they need them.
