Staff and students were delighted to see the fabulous paintings of the "Schoolwork" collection by artist Blaise Smith return recently to the school. The twenty piece collection had been on display in the Crawford Gallery, Cork following their exhibition in the Visual Arts Centre in Carlow. 

The wonderful paintings have been installed around the school with eight pieces on display in the Front Hall to create an amazing experience for staff, students and visitors as they enter the school. The paintings, created by Blaise Smith during the course of the 2011-2012 school year, depict many facets of life in Presentation College from the class room to the School Show to the sportsfield among others.
Two paintings from the collection are absent as one is currently on display in the National Portrait Gallery in London while the other is on display in the Royal Hibernian Academy Gallery in Dublin.
