The cast of the school musical was given to the pupils after school by director David Doyle and the musical director Maeve Lyons, the part of Belle was given to Shannon Nolan, a present 5^th year and the part of the Beast was given to Dermot Mc Guill, a present 4^th year. Other main parts include Gaston who will be played by Conor Heffernan and The Prince who will be played by Owen Scully.

Rehearsals began immediately the following Friday!

On Wednesday the 12^th all current 4^th years and some current 5^th years came in at 11:10 to receive their junior certificate results. We all gathered in the library and waited to receive are results which were handed out to us individually by the principal Mr.Murray and vice principal Mr.Delaney. They congratulated us each individually first and then as a group.

Overall most students were delighted with their results and the celebrations continued throughout the day.
